Layne Less Traveled is a labor of love and a powerful testimony to God's grace. My name is Lori Layne, and my faith as a Christian has shaped my life. For many years, my testimony felt ordinary, boring even, but everything changed in 2024.
I am a wife of almost eight years and a mother to four incredible children—two spirited daughters, ages 7 and 4, and a precious 4-month-old son—I have experienced both joy and heartache. My daughter, Calvary, is always remembered, though she left us far too soon, passing away in the Neonatal ICU just eight days after birth.
We have chosen the path of homeschooling, driven by a passion to support other mothers on their journeys. I stand firmly pro-life, and my story reveals the deep reasons behind my conviction. I aim to cultivate a nurturing space for NICU families and a sanctuary for mothers navigating the grief of child loss through Calvary's Condolences.
